Ambre sultan is my favourite perfume. When I first smelt Ambre Sultan it hit me so powerfully because it reminded me of the smell of incence in church when I was a child. The perfume has a lot of fire and so is warm and spicy. It is an erotic, sensual perfume but it is also very spiritual. The scent is very complex and I could identify many of the essential oils present. It is indeed an expensive perfume, as all Serge Lutens are, and I have quite a variety of them to choose from, however, Ambre sultan is out there in front along with LOrpheline . Sometimes I wonder if I am sane to spend so much on a perfume, but when I smell Ambre Sultan I know Ive made the right decision This perfume would also be suitable for a man to wear because of its sensual, earthy notes. I think Antonio Banderas would suit it Yummy

A nice flowery coconut scent, perfect for the beach and summer parties, probably not so much for the office or daily life. I personally prefer Le Bois Vanille, which is much more deep and complex and my boyfriend adores it.
