ETERNITY by Calvin Klein is a timeless perfume. Ive liked it since I was in my late teens and still like it in my mid 30s. As I look back through the reviews, I see some comments about the bottle people received from Perfumes of London not being genuine or not being high quality. The bottle I received is perfect, looks right, smells right, feels right. . . the same as Id at my local department store. So either Perfumes of London must have had a bad batch, or people purchased from a third party seller peddling counterfeit wares. I only love this bottle and will be ordering more when this one runs out. I recommend that you ensure that you are purchasing directly from Perfumes of London to avoid the risk of fraudulent product, like some of the previous reviewers seemed to experience. Also, at the time of this review the product is less expensive at Nordys, so you may want to compare the pricing at local stores.

I received a sample size of this cologne. I have bought my son and husband both Calvin Klein scents before, but this was the first time trying this scent. My husband and son both wanted to use the sample I received. The scent was masculine enough for my 36yearold husband, but not too masculine for my 17yearold son. It smells very clean, not too overpowering and the scent lasts a long while. I still could smell the scent on my husband when he got home from work after spraying two pumps from the sample sprayer on himself after showering before work. In my opinion, this is definitely worth purchasing the full size product

Eternity is delightful and captivates your audiences attention. Its long lasting but not over powering. This is a classic fragrance that will always be in my collection due to the floral, musky, and warm amber scent. However, I love perfumed soaps and body wash. I recently bought the shower gel and was VERY disappointed. The fragrance is hardly there and when Im out of the shower, dried off, and dressed, I dont smell anything. Dont buy the shower gel, its a waste of money, but I definitely recommend the Eternity Perfume or EDT.

What a lovely surprise. I bought this in a bit of a rush and I absolutely love it. It smells to me a bit like dolce and gabbana light blue but much nicer. It is light and summery but I disagree with the other reviewers on its lasting power, when I took my top out of the laundry bin a few days later I could still smell it. Will definitely repurchase this next summer

This scent sprayed smells quite tame. Fresh and clean. I tried this on two areas to test. First, on my neck, it immediately smelled quite citrusy but not overwhelmingly so. Next on my wrists. This test has my wife at odds since her pregnancy has recently made her nose quite sensitive and while it smelled a bit more woodsy to me, she felt it smelled quite musky. That said, she did mention the time before, on my neck, not having this issue. All in all its quite a fine scent and I will probably wear it as more of a day to day scent as it doesnt smell like it should be worn to a fancy eventspecial occasion.

From a guys perspective meNice scent, not irritating or eye watering like expired Sunday church perfume on old ladies. Not obtrusive or imposing, and just right. Good balance of high tones and a nice base that carries for hours. High tones appear to have decent persistence and a modest application should last for hours. Good for all settings but avoid over application in work environments unless you are the boss. From a gals perspective wife nice, not overly strong. Probably not an everyday wear for me but certainly not a reject. Like it to be more fruity.

I am a fan of Eternity Men since the scent first became available about 1990. Although I do use spray deodorants I prefer deodorant sticks such as this not only because of the wonderful scent but also because it comes as part of a suite of other Calvin Klein products of the same Eternity Men scent. I use this deodorant stick regularly but not everyday. When I do I almost always combine it with Eternity Body Wash andor Hair Body Wash and Eau de Toilette. That not only makes me really special to others but I FEEL really special within myself. For those who would like the tasting notes to steal from wine and whisky parlance Eternity is described as a refreshing, spicy, lavender, amber fragrance. Its fragrant nature explores essences of lavender, jasmine and amber. Blended with notes of rosewood, greens, crisp jasmine, sage, basil, vetiver and sandalwood and therefore Eternity is considered to be an all around fragrance. PS. I try to remember to carry with me Eternity Body Spray of course also by Calvin Klein as when I use it it seems to rejuvenate the Eternity products I have used earlier in the day.

Reviewing a perfume is like reviewing a color you either like it or you dont like it. Youre wearing the perfume, so its your own personal preference andor the preference of someone you want to impress. My wife wanted to try Calvin Klein Eternity. Shes not much of a perfume wearer. Her favorite scent was always Chanel No. 5. That had a sweet, flowery, almost powdery scent. Eternity seems to be more fruitysomething almost tart and fresh, like lemon or another citrus. Again, you either like the scent or you dont. The bottle came in great condition and the spray worked fine. Try the scent and judge for yourself.

Its hard to separate Eternity the scent from Eternity the image. Eternity the scent was created by Sophia Grojsman in 1988 other scents she created Lancomes Tresor, Estee Lauders White Linen, PrescriptivesClinique Calyx and YSL Paris and is a white flower scent with a hint of green. Its lily of the valley with a bit of violet, some carnation and then white musk to give it some base. It lasts on the skin and smells unique. To me, it continues to smell clean and white, even now. I dont think it smells old fashioned or 80s. The longer you wear it the more the white musk comes out. Keep in mind this is NOT a dirty musk or patchouliits a sheer, almost crystal musk thats ripe and gives the scent staying power on the skinThe images of it are the Herb Ritts black and white photos of Christy Turlington dressed in white and usually pictured with things that are eternalthe ocean, family. Back in the 80s there was an auction of items belonging to Edward, Duke or Windsor Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor and, for whom he gave up being King of England to marry. Calvin Klein purchased one of their wedding rings, which had the inscription For Eternity inside and hence the name of the scentor so the PR story went. This scent was the nail in the coffin of 80s excessthe Giorgio and Poison era of big bold perfumes and deserves to be a timeless classic.

I wore the original, the EDT, when I was in college. It was kinda outdated, scratchy, and sometimes harsh when first applied, but cheap and easy to find. I ordered a 3. 4 oz tester of the EDP and was blown away So much smoother and modernized. The performance is MUCH BETTER This isnt super unique, but I cant label it as cookie cutter. It has just a slight touch that puts it away from the other generic fragrances. It would be a great warm weather fragrance or for someone who is just getting into fragrances, like a teenager. A safe choice for sure. Also, if you hate the original or its many flankers, you may end up enjoying this one.
