Calvin Klein Eternity for Women is a new experience for me. I thought I knew what to expect from a Calvin Klein fragrance, but I was taken aback at this scent. This fragrance does still capture the clean type of floral scent that is signature from this brand. But I did not expect to encounter the deeper base notes of sandalwood and sage. I especially was shocked by the patchouli notes in this. Amber is also featured heavily here, but amber has become hugely popular in the last few years. These deeper notes lend an air of mystery to the overall composition of the fragrance. This is thought to be a daytime perfume, but I think it may even work better as the skies grow dark. Understated and sly, thats my overall impression of this scent. This is not the scent profile for me, but I can see it as being quite popular for those that enjoy a dark, spicy, and floral scent. I received this product free for testing purposes.

I received a small complimentary sample of this to test, and have been wearing it the past couple of days to see how it smells on my skin. From the first spritz I realized it smelled familiar it smells almost exactly like Sun, Moon, and Stars, a perfume I wore back in highschool. The fragrance, at least on me, isnt great, though it is interesting. Its a bit too powdery to let the florals shine, and it almost reaches the level of being cloying. Fortunately, a pepper note which is from the carnation cuts through this and keeps it from being too much or headache inducing. Over time the powder and pepper fade and a cleaner, sweeter scent is left. It gets earthier as it dries down. The second time I wore this Id just been doing dishes, and somehow that changed the smell to hot, sour, and bitter almost a unisex scent. Unfortunately, the sillage is poor I have to hold my forearm within a foot to even smell it and it fades within a few hours to the point I have to shove my wrist to my nose to smell anything. I also tried this perfume out on my upper arm, just to see if my skin would react differently there. It did the florals came out more and it wasnt so powdery, but still had the pleasant spice from the carnation. Overall it seemed a much prettier and more balanced scent there. This is definitely one to sample, on skin, before committing to a full bottle.

I did not get what i ordered. This company is selling toilet water for expensive perfume. I did not get my calvin klein Eternity. I got watered down something that he took the top off the original Eternity and put something else in the bottle. I see he is not accredited thru BBB. . And he has so many complaints like mine, Please dont let him sell thru Groupon. I have been always safe ordering thru Groupon but he dont belong here. Thank you.

What a lovely surprise. I bought this in a bit of a rush and I absolutely love it. It smells to me a bit like dolce and gabbana light blue but much nicer. It is light and summery but I disagree with the other reviewers on its lasting power, when I took my top out of the laundry bin a few days later I could still smell it. Will definitely repurchase this next summer

Its hard to separate Eternity the scent from Eternity the image. Eternity the scent was created by Sophia Grojsman in 1988 other scents she created Lancomes Tresor, Estee Lauders White Linen, PrescriptivesClinique Calyx and YSL Paris and is a white flower scent with a hint of green. Its lily of the valley with a bit of violet, some carnation and then white musk to give it some base. It lasts on the skin and smells unique. To me, it continues to smell clean and white, even now. I dont think it smells old fashioned or 80s. The longer you wear it the more the white musk comes out. Keep in mind this is NOT a dirty musk or patchouliits a sheer, almost crystal musk thats ripe and gives the scent staying power on the skinThe images of it are the Herb Ritts black and white photos of Christy Turlington dressed in white and usually pictured with things that are eternalthe ocean, family. Back in the 80s there was an auction of items belonging to Edward, Duke or Windsor Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor and, for whom he gave up being King of England to marry. Calvin Klein purchased one of their wedding rings, which had the inscription For Eternity inside and hence the name of the scentor so the PR story went. This scent was the nail in the coffin of 80s excessthe Giorgio and Poison era of big bold perfumes and deserves to be a timeless classic.

Few mens fragrances are as reliable for quality and classic scents as Calvin Klein. Aqua is one of the more pleasant, and lasting in the collection. I use it during the day and it has reasonable staying power to get me through most of the daylight hours and the frangrance is one of the few that draws comments from others. Positive ones It is nice to be noticed and yes, I would recommend.

As a disclaimer I received a free sample vial of this scent from Influenster, in return for my honest feedback and review. When I was told I was receiving a sample of this scent for review, I was skeptical on if I would like it or not. I few up in the 80s and 90s, everyone had Eternity by Calvin Klein, it was all the rage it seemed. It was not my favorite then, but now. . . . I actually quite enjoy the scent. it leaves me wondering if its the same formula as back then, or if theyve brought a fresh new take to it. It smells quite natural, and reminds me of the ocean. I pick up on all the notes they mention, bourbon geranium, spice, ginger. There are also notes of lentisk which I was unfamiliar with, and its an evergreen that grows in the Mediterranean, the Greek Isles to be exact. Perfect note for something that reminds me of a day at the ocean here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I will definitely be buying a full size of this one.

I wore the original, the EDT, when I was in college. It was kinda outdated, scratchy, and sometimes harsh when first applied, but cheap and easy to find. I ordered a 3. 4 oz tester of the EDP and was blown away So much smoother and modernized. The performance is MUCH BETTER This isnt super unique, but I cant label it as cookie cutter. It has just a slight touch that puts it away from the other generic fragrances. It would be a great warm weather fragrance or for someone who is just getting into fragrances, like a teenager. A safe choice for sure. Also, if you hate the original or its many flankers, you may end up enjoying this one.

As a perfume lover and collector, I had heard so much about this. Well, I really hate it. Its way too strong, overpowering and very chemical. It doesnt adapt to the userwearer as good perfumes do. I cant say I would recommend, but that is very personal. I once changed my seat on an airplane because the smell is so overpowering. I have tried many perfumes but this one will never get near me again.
