To me, this will always be a fragrance that defines the elegance and beauty of Yves Saint Laurent. This perfume is a really light, floral fragrance that reminds me of the fresh blooms and perfumes of the Spring season, when the flower buds turn into fragrant petals and the grass becomes a vibrant green. These visions make this perfume a real experience to wear. Its that type of perfume that makes you feel all fuzzy inside yet instilled a sense of empowerment. While it is a light, floral Spring scent, its incredibly elegant and sophisticated. It makes you feel like a real woman A good perfume to me is not just one that makes you smell nice, but one that sends you on a sensory experience, and that is what the YSL Paris does for me. This is a scent that my mother used to wear, but dont let that stop you. This scent is for the everyday empowered, strong and beautiful woman. The sillage for this perfume is moderate Id say. Its not something that will slap someone in the face when you walk in a room yet it radiates beautifully and gently around you. Im only dropping one star for the price I understand you get what you pay for, but on a student wage this fragrance is pricey. Because of that, its a perfume I wear on very special occasions.

Great white floral for spring summer. It smells like fruity taffy mixed with baby powder. Strong but not overwhelming and definitely lasts a decent amount of time. I love white florals but even for me this definitely runs a bit more mature then even i like youth dew for example if youve ever meet a really nice older women who does luncheons with the girls she definitely wears this. I might keep it but im still on the fence. UPDATE after trying 7 different perfumes this YSL paris is the perfect spring sent for me If your worried about it being mature just give it a chance After rotating this with 7 other perfumes from various highend brands this one was the clear winner it had the light floral feel i was looking for but with actual projection Thats basically unheard of from a modern floral fragrance.

I heard about this scent through YouTube reviewers and other fragrancecentered websites and bought a sample to smell. I wasnt overly impressed on first sniff the ginger was quite strong and not a note that I enjoy and put the sample aside for about a month. I tried it again recently and now I get the hype It seems like the scent settled down into a sexy, yet classy smooth, clear, spicy daytime scent that would suit any man of any age. Perfect office scent as it is not offensive or gaginducing in strength and I would recommend for a casual date as well as I think any woman or man would find this pleasing. This scent has definitely taught me not to judge fragrances by the first sniff, but go back and give another chance.
