As a 12 year old child, while watching my aunt prepare for work in front of the mirror, she turned to me and handed me a third full container of Rive Gauche. Here, keep this Those words were my cue to spritz that amazing scent on me. I could not believe it, I owned such an exquisite scent. I remember using my beautiful Rive Gauche fragrance sparingly so as to preserve it.That moment and the fragrance have remained in my memory for my entire life. I have continued to wear Rive Gauche and love as much as when I was 12. I lead YSL to understand how difficult it is to obtain this most beautiful fragrance. I particularly like to be able to purchase a fragrance spontaneously from any retailer, since I run out of Rive Gauche frequently. My question is WHY is a fragrance, which is clearly the most beautiful on your entire line and in any retail store, on such a hiatus Please stop making the many Rive Gauche customers have to buy such a limited line of your absolute winner, Rive Gauche. Bring back an entire line of Rive Gauche There is nothing but garbage out there Rive Gauche must returnThank you,Smelling of Rive Gauche

This isnt oldermanspice. I bought this for my son without having smelled it. He tried it out one day, walked into the room, and geez it smelled good. Someone reviewed that a woman could wear this….its true It had somewhat of a feminine smell to it maybe like cotton candy and i was afraid i had bought perfume But when the initial spray smell goes away, so does the cotton candy like smell, and ends up smelling more manly. I love when he puts it on lol. Anyway, hes 20 yrs old, in college, his girlfriend loves it as well. He will leave the house to go out and 3, 4 hours later when he comes home, i can still catch a whiff of the cologne. Will def buy again.

I own a number of fragrances Miss Dior, Acqua di Parma, Chanel Chance, Jo Malone Red Roses and was looking for something more unisexmasculine. Id smelled LHomme on men before and thought it was fantastic masculine but subtle and not overpowering. So I went into Sephora for recs and LHomme was suggested. I was hesitant, but after I sprayed it on and let it sit on my skin, it took on a sweeter scent. I get compliments on it all the time, and it is now my goto fragrance. Its also long lasting but again, not overpowering. Would totally recommend for women looking for a more unisex scent

This is my mothers favourite perfume I always used to borrow it throughout my teenage years. It is such a classic scent. It has a beautiful floral scent with a slight metallic tone to it. The scent is very sophisticated. The packaging is so recognisable and always makes me reminisce about my mothers powder room table with her bottle of Rive Gauche sitting there. Although it would not be my every day scent I do love this as a scent I would wear to a high tea or such event that makes me feel a little old fashioned and feminine. I dont think it would be every ones favourite but I would recommend it to those looking for a more mature, floral scent.
