I bought a tiny 1 ml sample of this scent on ScentSplit to try, and I was very impressed I personally dont get the candied orange, I mainly get the warmer scents of gingerbread, clove, and cinnamon. On the brands site it mentions gunpowder But I dont get that at all, it just seems very warmspicy and almost incenselike, which I personally am a fan of in this particular scent. It almost feels too strong at first, like a Tom Ford scent, but once its sat on my skin for a few minutes it blends in so nicely I will be buying a bigger bottle of this in the future.

I switched to this because I can no longer find Loccitanes version except at ruinous prices. This as a slightly woody note tonka bean maybe and is slightly less sweet. But its great and holds the scent for hours. Ive stocked up a supply in case they ever stop making it

This fragrance is basically Metallic lily, how unique is that The name is a reference to the medieval torture device The Iron Maiden, or Jean of Arc the Maid of Orleans. The name itself caught my attention but you can clearly smell the Lily and Metallic top notes which makes it such a unique fragrance. It is an androgynous fragrance in my opinion but perfect for women too. Long lasting and compliment garnering.
