I have been working in the beauty industry for over 35 years, having worked with Clarins in the early days and have continued to use the products in my daily routines. This is a BEAUTIFUL moisturiser that really does relieve dry and tight skin. At this time of year March my skin I ready for something richer and this cream is my go to I used Santal oil at night and normally Hydra Essentiel normal dry during the day but switch to this when I need a little more hydration. This cream is only a available online so sadly I cannot support my local Clarins team who are wonderful , it would be lovely if it could be available to buy in store I have been using other products and have decided to scale things down and go back to basics as there are almost too many products out there to confuse our daily lives, I remember the wonderful early days when the face oils had creams that accompanied them please think of bringing these back loved them . Thank you

This cream is a blessing for dry to very dry skin. I had tried a sample of the regular HydraEssential Cream but it wasnt hydrating enough for my skin. Then I got a sample of this one, for dry to very dry skin, and what a difference This one is ultramoisturizing, yet it goes on without feeling heavy, greasy or oily. It just melts into my skin and makes it feel soft and velvety. No more tight, taut, uncomfortable feeling skin. There really is a big difference between the regular Hydra Essential Cream and the HydraEssential Cream for dry skin.The Clarins sales girl suggested I use the HydraEssential Intensive Bi Phase Serum with this cream, so I bought that and wow, these 2 products together saved my very dry skin this winter, especially when I had to be outside in the cold dry air and strong winds.I should mention that I also use Clarins Double Serum and the Super Restorative creams, but they just werent moisturizing enough for me during the day. So Ive been using the HydraEssential products during the day and my other Clarins products at night. Im so glad my Macys sales rep recommended these products to me. She also said theyre great to use after prolonged sun exposure.If you have dry skin try this cream, its great to have on hand when your skin needs extra moisture.

I have to say, I honestly did not think this was doing much for me when I used it a few times at home. However,my opinion of this completely changed after I took this with me to my work trip. As all of my work trips are, I dont get enough sleep or stay hydrated as I should. Most trips, I come back with more fine lines than before the trip. So this time, I decided I should bring some eye masks with me to see if it will help. I originally was going to bring eye patches, but then decided to bring this along instead so I can put it on and go to sleep. Boy, did I make the right decision I came back from my trip with my under eye looking better than when I left. As it advertises Hydrates Yes, Smoothes Yes, Refreshes Yes My under eye foundation and powder looked so smooth and not cakey or settling into fine lines at all. I have to say though, I went a little over board and used it 4 nights in a row and noticed that my eyes did get a little puffy after the 4th night. So I cut back to every other night. I also used a little less, especially less on upper lid, and it worked perfect. This will be my HG eye mask for traveling now. I think if you are looking for results the first time, this is not it. However, if you do use it consistently every 12 nights, it will help keep your under eye hydrated and fine lines at bay.

I got this in a travel sized sampler with other Clarins products love the night cream as well and instantly fell in love. Im 31 with combinationdry skin, and laugh lines around my mouth which Im vary self conscious about. This paired with IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation makes my skin look fabulous I was always jealous because I could never make my skin look as clean and unblemished as many of the YouTube bloggers but this product and the IT foundation makes my skin look amazing. In my opinion it does help with tightening, it doesnt settle into your skin and is easy to apply. Just follow directions, dont rub it in Just apply an even layer in a few light sweeping motions or pat it onto your skin Love this product so much
